How the numbers snap
- Display rounds to the nearest 1/32 in, and prefers a 1/16 when it is within 0.005 in.
- A stub tenon length is 2/3 of the leg, then snapped down to the nearest 1/8 in. A 1-3/4 leg gives a 1-1/8 tenon.
- Tenon thickness is the common bit nearest to 1/3 of the rail: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4.
- A dado in 3/4 stock defaults to 3/8 deep, inside the band from 1/3 to 1/2 of the side.
